Montreal Old Port
Situated near the St-Lawrence river, Montreal Old Port is by far the most coveted place for Montreal wedding photography. In summer, many brides and grooms will have their photos taken near the Montreal City Hall or the Montreal Court of Appeal. It does not end there, you can have a nice walk down Place Jacques Cartier and head to the riverfront where you will find the known Montreal Clock Tower Quai and Marché Bonsecours. This calls for an amazing backdrop directly in the Montreal Old Port. If you like the urban feel for your wedding photography, you can simply wander St-Paul street where you can have your wedding photography taken with building that simply look stunning.
Montreal World trade center
Need a plan B if it rains or it’s winter time, there is no better place then the Montreal World trade centre for your wedding photography. Connected to the Intercontinental Hotel, you will find a beautiful Infinite water fountain and classic stairways. If you have extra time you can also stop for a good Starbucks!
Montreal Casino – Notre Dame Island
This is a GEM of a location. It is situated on Notre Dame Island which is a man made island where the Montreal Grand Prix is held and where the Montreal Casino resides. Brides and grooms love this place thanks to the mixture of green landscape and modern building. It is a great place for Montreal wedding photography if you want to escape congestion and urban feel. This location holds lots of little pathways, waterfronts and trees. You can also get free parking by simply calling Montreal Casino administration, they will assist you in the planning of your wedding day.
The Château Ramezay is a museum and historic building in the Montreal Old Port sector and they simply have gorgeous gardens. Unique colours and textures make for amazing wedding photography. Best of all, accessing the Chateau Ramezay gardens is completely free.
Beaver Lake Mount Royal Park
Considered as a jewel of Montreal, Mount Royal Park is stunning for its views and its 200-hectare park. It also includes the highest spot of Montreal Island. With it’s greenery and vast spaces, it is a beautiful location for wedding photography. If you park at Beaver lake you can have an amazing backdrop of the lake or the beaver lake pavilion, which has a futurist architecture.
